Colton's First Trip to the Movies

My 2 year-old is in love with Lighting McQueen and Mater from the movie Cars.  So when Cars 2 came out my husband and I thought it would be a great opportunity to take Colton to the movies for the first time.  Our thoughts were this:

• It's a kid friendly movie
• It's Disney!!
• There will be other children in the theatre (so when our child acts up folks won't give us evil looks)
• Colton LOVES Cars!!

The movie started at 7:30pm and we wanted to be in our seats by 7:00pm since this was the premiering weekend...it was packed!!  Thankfully we did get there early and was able to get the last three seats on the top row.  (Figured when Colton or Justin started jumping around we wouldn't be distracting anyone behind us.)

Mommy's ticket: $7.25

Daddy's ticket: $7.25

Colton's ticket: $5.00

Movie Review:  The movie was good, but very fast paced.  The first movie was a lot easier to follow.  Cars 2 is like a James Bond movie and they actually used guns and killed cars, which I didn't care for....it is Disney for crying out loud!  Other than that, it was a good movie.  I'll give it 3 stars.
