As most of you know, we are searching for a new home. Mainly because we need more space and secondly, the basement stairs! If you have never been to my house, we have a wrought-iron railing around our basement stairs that is located between the kitchen and living room. When we remodeled, we had a gate made so that part is covered. It's the fact that our couch is sitting against one side of the railing and I'm scared to death he will climb over a fall down the stairs. Our master bedroom and laundry room are downstairs - so we need daily access to this area of the house.
Back to my point - our timing is perfect for searching for a new home. As of today, Colton is becoming mobile. He is beginning to rock back and forth if he is placed on his hands and knees. It is so cute! He wants to move so badly, but doesn't know how yet. He ends up lunging forward and landing on his face. He almost has the rolling over down to a "T". It want be long until he is rolling to get where he wants to go...then he may just skip that part and crawl.
