Pickin' Up Straw

Picking up straw or hay bales is normal routine for us farm folks. This year Colton was able to participate. Yesterday, he helped me drive the truck and trailer around in the field while the guys stacked the bales on the trailer. I was scared that I would toss G-pa [Justin's dad] off the trailer because Colton kept shifting the gears and attempting the turn the ignition off. How lovely that would have been! Today, Mr. C assisted by putting the straw bales into "pick-up" position. He is absolutely loves helping.

He understands the importance of staying hydrated. What a big boy!
